THE PRACTICAL TAKEAWAY

Publish something a buyer can learn from, with a clear connection to its author and evidence.

Start with a real professional question

A useful professional post can explain an implementation choice, a customer problem, a research method, or a tradeoff your team understands firsthand. Begin with that knowledge rather than a claim that one platform universally dominates AI citations.

Ask who the reader is and what they should be able to do after reading. A procurement specialist, practitioner, and founder may need different detail. Write for the person making a decision, not for an imagined retrieval algorithm.

Make authorship and evidence clear

Keep professional profiles current and accurate. Attribute work to the people who actually did it, disclose relevant affiliations, and link to supporting public material where appropriate. Never assign invented job titles or experience to create apparent authority.

When sharing results, explain the method and limits. An internal example should be labeled as such. A customer outcome needs permission and documentation. A hypothesis should not become a research finding because it is presented in a confident carousel.

Keep essential knowledge on an owned page

Professional posts can start a conversation, but important product facts should have a maintained home. Link to a useful guide or documentation page that can be corrected as the offering changes. Keep the public explanation consistent across both places.

Repurpose thoughtfully. A concise post can introduce one practical lesson from a longer guide; it does not need to repeat every paragraph. Answer follow-up questions honestly and use them to identify what the underlying guide should clarify.

Evaluate the right outcome

Look at qualified conversations, useful reader questions, identifiable referrals, and observed citations where available. Do not treat impressions as evidence of purchase influence. If an AI answer cites a professional page, inspect the exact claim and destination.

The durable value is a public record of accurate expertise. Maintain it through regular review and corrections. Publishing more often is not a substitute for knowing something worth explaining.
